Rev. Lucas S. Tribble, Pastor
Rev. Lucas S. Tribble is a native of Montgomery, Alabama. He is a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor’s in Industrial & Systems Engineering. He received his Master of Divinity from the Candler School of Theology of Emory University. Lucas is an Ordained Elder in the Alabama-West Florida Conference of The United Methodist Church. Lucas has previously served as the associate minister at Mount Zion United Methodist Church in Smiths Station, Alabama and as the Associate Minister at Trinity United Methodist Church in Phenix City, Alabama. He has served the past eight years as the Associate Minister at First United Methodist Church of Montgomery.
Lucas is a sports fanatic. He avidly follows Auburn Athletics, the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, and the Carolina Hurricanes. Though those are his favorite teams, he will watch whatever teams in whatever sports are on the TV. Lucas is a frequent runner and ran his second fastest 5K in Enterprise!
Lucas is married to Sarah Beth. Sarah Beth is a Speech Language Pathologist for Adoration Home Health. She is a native of Greenville, South Carolina and a two time graduate of the University of South Carolina. They are the parents of identical seven month old twins, Bradford and Sawyer. They also have a beloved seven year old retired racing greyhound named Dansby. They are excited to be at St. Luke UMC and to jump into the Enterprise community.
Julie Biddle, Church Administrator
Julie was born and raised in Chattanooga, TN. She moved to Enterprise, AL in September of 2004 to minister to youth on Fort Rucker through Youth for Christ from 2004-2012.
Julie’s background is in Law Firm Management. She was a Legal Administrator and Office Manager for 15 years before moving to Enterprise. Julie has attended St. Luke UMC since 2013 and began working as the Church Administrator in July of 2015. She is passionate about her role and enjoys interacting with the congregation.
Julie enjoys spending time with her family, entertaining friends, watching Alabama football, watching movies, and traveling.
Julie and her husband, Clint, are blessed to have two children, Jackson and Zoe. They are happy to have a Christ centered home where all are welcome.
Hays Jones, Director of Student Ministries
He graduated in 2023 from Auburn University with a degree in accounting and a minor in Spanish, and is beginning a hybrid Master of Divinity degree program at Candler School of Theology at Emory University.
Hays really loves that Christ invites his followers into “life to the full”, and desires to live into that with youth at St. Luke.
Tina Hamner, Director of Children's Ministry
Tina is a home schooling Mom to her three kids, Matthew, Charlotte, and Nathaniel. She has been married to her husband, Aaron, for 11 years and they share a home filled with noise, animals (the dachshund being her favorite), and love.
In her spare time she enjoys reading, hiking, cooking, spending time with her family and friends, and all of the fiber arts. Two fun facts about Tina are; she has been relearning to play the flute and she has won several contests with her culinary talents.
Roy Hoobler, Director of Traditional Worship
Roy Hoobler is originally from Salt Lake City, Utah. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Marshall University in West Virginia. After graduating, however, he joined the U.S. Army and was a Korean interpreter for 5 years, living mostly in South Korea during that time. Since the Army, he has received his Education certificate and had held a couple of teaching positions over the last 10 years before opening Hoobler Music in Enterprise. Roy is grateful to have found a home at St. Luke UMC after having served in Methodist, Presbyterian, and Catholic churches as organist, pianist, and choir director. Roy also is the founder / director of the Masterworks Community Choir in Enterprise.
Bryson Storey, Director of Contemporary Worship
Music has had a major influence on Bryson’s life and relationship with Christ from a young age. His love for music started with his inspirations from classic rock, 90s country, gospel and the music from our very own contemporary service praise band. He started playing guitar and singing at 11 years old, and started performing with St. Luke’s youth band at the age of 13.
Prior to joining the staff at St. Luke UMC, Bryson played music and sang at multiple festivals and other venues across the tri-state area. He has served with St. Luke’s contemporary praise band, Ten Cities, playing guitar, bass, and singing for 3 years.
Bryson is now leading the contemporary service praise band.
Bryson is passionate about music, and believes that music sets the tone for a deeper level of worship, which he desires to bring to St. Luke.
Silver Londo, Nursery Assistant
Silver is passionate about providing a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment for the youngest members of our church family. With a heart for children and a gift for caregiving, she ensures that each child feels loved and valued while parents participate in worship and church activities. In this role she is responsible for supervising infants and toddlers, engaging them in age-appropriate activities, and maintaining a clean and safe nursery space. Silver’s patience, kindness, and attentiveness help create a comforting atmosphere where children can begin to experience God’s love. Many of our “nursery graduates” love stopping by the nursery to greet Miss Silver and receive a hug, high five, and word of encouragement.
Doug Gray, Facility Maintenance
Doug serves as the Facilities Manager at St. Luke where he oversees the maintenance, safety, and functionality of the church’s buildings and grounds.His attention to detail and commitment to excellence help create a safe and inviting environment for all. He is a “jack of all trades” and you can often find him on a ladder fixing lights in the building, on the lawn mowers making sure the lawn is ready for Sunday morning, or setting up for Sunday morning worship. Doug is retired from the military and the post office. He is married to Grace Parks and in his spare time he is an avid hunter and fisherman.
Wendy Sykes, Custodian
Wendy Sykes moved to Enterprise, Alabama in 2015 when her husband, Brian, received orders to what was then Fort Rucker. After Brian retired, they chose to stay here to raise their two children, Samantha (born 2008) and Nathan (born 2011). Having moved around a lot both in childhood and after marrying, Wendy has enjoyed settling down and making Enterprise her home away from Home.
