Job Posting: Director of Student Ministries

Job Summary:

St. Luke United Methodist Church is seeking a passionate and dedicated Director of Student Ministries to lead and nurture our youth ministry. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that foster spiritual growth, discipleship, and community engagement.

Responsibilities:

• • Develop and oversee youth ministry programs, including Bible studies, mission trips, fellowship events, and outreach activities.

• • Plan and lead weekly youth group meetings and special events.

• • Mentor and disciple youth in their faith journey.

• • Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers to assist with youth activities.

• • Collaborate with church leadership, parents, and volunteers to create a supportive faith community.

• • Encourage youth participation in worship services and church activities.

• • Maintain communication with youth and parents through various platforms, including social media, email, and church bulletins.

• • Oversee the youth ministry budget.

 

Qualifications:

• • A strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and a passion for youth ministry.

• • Experience in youth ministry or related field preferred.

• • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• • Ability to connect with and relate to youth and their families.

• • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a church staff.
